Create
your own
Headspace.

There is no other space in Calgary like Headspace, where your team is inspired to think more freely, work more collaboratively and explore ideas more creatively.

Everything in Headspace can be moved. Experiment on your own, or let us help you arrange the space to get the most out of your time together. Start with theatre seating, then step into a classroom layout. Or divide your team into separate breakout spaces. Set up a mini trade show or host an exhibit. The walls are movable with fully writeable surfaces, and the casual furniture encourages relaxed collaboration.

WiFi, projector, sound system, flipcharts and markers, coffee – all are included and ready to go. Book as much or as little time as you need, including half days, evenings, full days and weekends.

Headspace is Calgary’s most flexible, collaborative and creative meeting space.

Testimonials

“To Laurel and the Headspace team,
The first-ever Raise It Up! fundraiser was a success because of you! On behalf of everyone at the Calgary Centre for Global Community,

Thank You!”

Lorah Jensen

“Headspace is deceivingly simple in its design, but it is a remarkable space for public meetings. It has all the tools that our community facilitators could ever need and its flexibility means that we can conduct almost any kind of meeting, workshop or open house. Definitely at the top of our list for preferred venues.”

Cheri Macaulay, CivicCamp Calgary

“Headspace is perfect for the creative ‘do it your selfer’ that’s looking for a flexible, unique and inspiring space.”

Julie Baratta, Calgary Arts Development

“Thanks again for such a great day, HeadSpace was a big part of our success!”

Caroline Davey, Team Lead, Talent Management
ConocoPhillips Canada Ltd.

“Dear Laurel,
Thank-you for your help in executing the first annual Calgary's Unsung Heroes Awards. We love the venue; it was the perfect space to celebrate some real community action heroes. We appreciate Karo's support and your belief in social enterprises such as DeliverGood and thank-you for the substantial discount.

You, Karo and Headspace were instrumental in making this event a success, from the accessibility and thoughtfulness prior to the event to the onsight support to the clean-up following…your team was amazing!

It was a pleasure meeting you and we look forward to throwing Calgary's Unsung Heroes Awards 2013 at HeadSpace, which promises to be bigger and better!

Best Wishes,”

Robb Price
Founder, DeliverGood

“Laurel, we had so many positive comments about Headspace after our retreat on Saturday.

It was truly a pleasure to work with you and your team in the last several months, and in particular working with you leading up to the event. I appreciate you taking the time to work through all of our questions and support our particular needs for the space. It made the process so smooth and really took a lot of stress out of the planning for this major event.

I hope we will have the opportunity to return to Headspace again in the near future.”

Vanessa Hasdell, Momentum

“We really enjoyed this unique space for our recent offsite. It’s both close to downtown and yet far enough away that you’re able to separate yourself from your daily activities and create a different “Headspace” for discussions. The space itself is enormous with very flexible furniture allowing for different configurations (that can be moved and wheeled around at will). The staff were helpful and available. We'll definitely be returning again…and again.”

Nathan Maycher, ConocoPhillips Canada

“Headspace was a perfect space for our GDC speaker event and working with Laurel was a pleasure. She made sure all the details were covered and the space itself can be transformed into any space you need it to be. Thanks for such a great experience!”

Lauren Foster, The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada, Southern Alberta Chapter

“Telus World of Science held a strategy session in Headspace recently, and it was quite successful from my perspective. The facility had plenty of space for our team of 40 people, and the environment was informal, creative, and helped to break down the barriers that inevitably exist when you try to open up new ideas and ways of collaborating in your own office environment. Karo did a great job facilitating the discussion, but I'm almost inclined to say that Headspace was the real star of the show.

Seeing old problems in a new way is vital to overcoming any business challenge, and Headspace was the perfect environment in which to do that.”

Jennifer Martin, President & CEO of Telus World of Science

“We’ve used Headspace for several of our study group meetings so far, and everyone could not be happier with the venue. We have 30-50 people in the space for everything from Powerpoint lectures to small break-out sessions, and it works great. It’s fun, creative, and Karo has been very easy to work with. The location is also a hit: we have attendees from all over Calgary (and beyond), and its “central but not right in the congestion of downtown” setting has made us happy to keep coming back.”

Greg Barnett & Dana Van Elslande
New & Younger Dentists of Calgary Study Club

“Wonderful Space! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, we had a great session.”

Jen

“We will be back! Thank you!”

Megan

“What a creative and inspiring space! Thanks so much for letting us use Headspace.”

Maryn

“Thank you for sharing your fantastic space with us, it was a productive day!”

Annie

“Loved the space – made for a great meeting with the team.”

Lisa

“Thanks for letting us use the Headspace, it was inspiring and energizing.”

Mary

“Headspace is a little event space gem in Calgary and one of the city's best kept secrets. At the west end of downtown and just a stone's throw from the new Sunalta C-train station, Headspace is a versatile and affordable rental facility for an evening reception or full day speaker's presentation. The open-concept facility complete with a kitchen makes catering and hosting a breeze and guests are delighted by the creative, uniqueness to the rooms décor and furniture.”

“It was a great pleasure for the Kubik Inc. team to hold an event at Headspace in Calgary. Laurel McMath, the office manager, had a “no worries” kind of attitude, allowing us to create an event at its maximum potential. Aside from the awesome staff, another great thing about Headspace, is the space itself. This space has a look on its own–from the graffiti walls, to an industrial style ceiling, it truly is unique in its own way. The loading dock was a great plus for us as well, seeing that it allowed us to fit in two vehicles for our vehicle launch. The Kubik Inc. team would like to thank everyone at Headspace for all their hard work and dedication! We had nothing but an enjoyable experience at Headspace!”

Kristine Gregorio, Kubic Inc.
